Deirdre Leighton currently lives in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and is a registered Advanced Reiki Practitioner with the Canadian Reiki Association working towards becoming a Reiki Master.
Deirdre has been fascinated with the healing powers of the Ancients, she has trained with Shaman Doug Horne, studying the Munay-Ki Rites. She believes we all have the power within us to not only heal ourselves but also to heal the World. As Dr. Alberto Villoldo writes in Shaman, Healer, Sage "...Through these fibers of light the wisdom and teachings of time past and future flow."
Currently; Deirdre is studying under the guidance of Dr Richard Jelusich, author of 'Eye of the Lotus: Psychology of the Chakras' and 'I Can Relate: How we intuitively choose the people in our lives'.
Dr Jelusich teaches a 17- level, 2- year "Healer's Training Course" - on spiritual healing and philosophy of being.
As humanity grows spiritually we learn to understand the healing powers of the past; the Mystery Schools of the Ancients, and we are now recognizing them to be powerful lessons for our future.
